Apek Hill Adventure on 24th of Jan 2013

Station 2, half way. (^^)b

This year is new year and new challenge of hiking activity. New members that I just met and lead them to hike a simple hill. Apek hill is located at Cheras, the hike is interestingly very well marked with Level 1 (Station 1), Level 2 (Station 2) and so on until you reach Level 5 (Station 5) at around 386m. There you have a choice of going to the waterfall (steep descend) or continue on to Station 6 and the summit of Apek Hill. The hike also connects to the Taman Saga, Cheras loop that also ends at the summit of Apek Hill. Difficulty is moderately Intense and duration average 2.5 hrs to 3 hrs (summit loop).

So all of us were succecful hiked at the Level 5 and we rest there quite long time. Suddenly some of them wanted to go to waterfall so we continued our trail to the summit of Apek Hill. It also can link to Saga Hill if want to skip the waterfall. Unfortunately on the half way, the sky turned into dark and it seemed gonna to rain. As they are just a beginner, they never thought to bring rain coat or water proof plastic bag. End up we have to turn back and quickly hike down. Luckily it didn't rain during all the way down. (^^)

Although we didn't make it to the waterfall but we are happily to have a wonderful hiking activity. I'm so glad that i've got an opportunity to be their leader to guide them. Honestly i felt kinda stress when i was a leader. (==) However, it was so much fun and exciting activity. (^_~)
